“Boulevard de la Woluwe cut: “journalistic work isn’t what it used to be” (implying that Burgomaster Waucquez wouldn’t have signed a press release against the cut and that journalists would have distorted reality)? “<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2021, an MR local councillor claimed on Facebook that burgomaster Bertrand Waucquez had not signed the press release against the cutting of the Boulevard de la Woluwe by the burgomasters of Kraainem, Wezembeek-Oppem, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. And in doing so, she accuses journalists of not doing their jobs properly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Since September 2019, the Kraainem-Unie\/Pro-Kraainem majority, and therefore Burgomaster Waucquez, have been opposing the cutting of Boulevard de la Woluwe (first by a decision of the College of Burgomasters and Aldermen in 2019, then by a motion to the Communal Council). Together with the mayors of Wezembeek-Oppem, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, he drafted and signed a press release to this effect.<\/p>\n
