OCTOBER 13 ELECTIONS – <\/span>YOUR MAYOR SPEAKS TO YOU<\/span><\/h2>\n

Dear Kraainem resident,<\/span><\/p>\n

Much has changed in our community over the past six years. You have witnessed the efforts we have made to upgrade Kraainem’s infrastructure for the benefit of safety, mobility and quality of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

As your mayor, I would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in me over the past 6 years. This trust, during the 2018 elections, has enabled us to put in place a <\/strong> <\/span>multilingual management of the commune, focused on projects rather than community quarrels<\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong> To my knowledge, Kraainem is the only municipality in Belgium where residents receive an annual <\/span>“balance sheet<\/span> detailed information enabling them to follow the progress of projects. This is the transparency you voted for 6 years ago. You’ll find more details on the <\/span>www.kraainemdoingthings.be<\/a><\/p>\n

But a burgomaster is not alone: the united Kraainem-Unie team embodies <\/span>deeds not words<\/span><\/strong>and<\/strong> we’ve proved it. It is therefore important to remain focused on facts and results, rather than on misinformation about communal finances, among other things, or on personal attacks. For our part, we remain committed to transparency and constructive collaboration, so that together we can continue to build a solid future for Kraainem. Because our work is not yet done. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le<\/span> October 13th<\/span>It’s an important day. An important day, because your vote – and every vote – counts in determining the projects that are important to you and to our beautiful commune, to ensure that communal management stays on track.
